April Varner & Eytan Schillinger-Hyman

San Francisco native Eytan Schillinger-Hyman is an accomplished upright and electric bassist and composer, performing across the New York City and Bay Area jazz scenes. A Juilliard-trained musician, he has appeared at renowned venues including Blue Note NYC, Dizzy’s Club at Jazz at Lincoln Center, SFJAZZ, Smalls Jazz Club, and the Monterey Jazz Festival.
Joining Eytan is award-winning vocalist April Varner, whose timeless sound and deep roots in the jazz tradition have earned her national recognition. The 2023 International Ella Fitzgerald Jazz Vocal Competition winner and DownBeat Magazine’s 2025 “Rising Star Female Vocalist,” April has performed at premier jazz venues including Birdland, Blues Alley, and 54 Below. Her debut album, April by April Varner, was named one of DownBeat Magazine’s Best Albums of 2024.

Browse a curated vintage and pre-loved designer pop-up from Vira the Label, experience artwork by Nowandformerly, and settle in for an unforgettable soundtrack provided by BODY SF. Dance party from 8:00 PM until midnight. This event is 21+. $10 admission at the door.
BODY SF is a DJ crew based in San Francisco. We throw DIY parties on a custom sound system in warehouses across the city. Our music is rooted in deep house and techno, but we explore many genres in service of dance. Our party is a circle that starts and ends with you.
